El Baton Cigars
El Baton Cigars
El Baton Cigars began as a brand made by J.C. Newman in Cleveland back in 1914. Back then, a El Baton was only Five Cents and the cigar was made by hand with Cuban tobacco, but disappeared with the onset of machine-made cigars in the 1920s. The new El Baton is in keeping with its history as a bargain smoke, but rather than using Cuban tobacco, El Baton is J.C. Newmans first Nicaraguan puro, and it is a very tasty brand. El Baton originally came in boxes of 40 cigars but are now available in 25 count boxes. It features a dark oily Nicaraguan wrapper.
